Nepal is a landlocked country which lies in the South Asia. It is surrounded by China in the North and India in the East, West and South. Nepal is divided in 5 Development Region, 14 Zones and 75 Districts. Nepal has one International airport and it is Tribhuvan International Airport which lies in Kathmandu. Kathmandu is capital of Nepal.
Nepal has lots of places to be visited. These places are really beautiful and joyful for both National and International Tourists and it is also best for honey moon couples also. The places to be visited in Nepal are: Kathmandu Valley and its surroundings, Chitwan, Pokhara, Dharan, Janakpur, Lumbini, Gorkha and the most best place is Northern Side which has lots of High Speed Rivers, Mountains views and the sherpa culture.
Nepal is famous for its own name and fame. The major attraction of Nepal are: river rafting, bungee jumping, mountain view, trekking, boating, jungle safari and pure Nepali culture of the small country Nepal. Lots of tourists come to Nepal to visit the world highest peak Mount Everest. People love to feel the cold temperature of Everest region and trekking in the Everest Area. People from India especially comes to Nepal for either Business or to visit Hindu Temples. Lots of Asian and Buddhist people come to Nepal to visit the Birth Place of Lord Buddha, Lumbini. Lord Buddha is known as Light of Asia.

  Hinduism in Nepal
Hinduism is the major religion of Nepal. In the 1991 census, approximately 89.5 percent of the Nepalese people identified themselves as Hindus. Buddhists and Muslims comprised 5.3 and 2.7 percent, respectively. The remainder followed other religions, including Christianity.
The national calendar of Nepal, Bikram Sambat (B.S.), is a solar Hindu calendar essentially the same to that widespread in North India as a religious calendar, and is based on Vedic principles of time-keeping. The geographical distribution of religious groups revealed a preponderance of Hindus, accounting for at least 87 percent of the population in every region. Among the Tibeto-Nepalese, those most influenced by Hinduism were the Magar, Sunwar, and Rai peoples.
  Buddhism in Nepal
Buddhism in Nepal dates from the birth of Siddhartha Gautam himself. Nepal is the meeting point for Indian and Tibetan Buddhist teachers. The country became a repository of Buddhist Sanskrit literature and famous for its production of fine Buddhist art.
